Artists use to be quite competitive, they have to excel, to win prices, to get chosen for Exhibitions, from Galleries. So usually they do work rather isolated for themselves. We broke with this pattern and started to enjoy each others company in our studios and workshops. We inspire each other, create together and grow together, by exchanging ideas, skills and materials.
By doing so we started to create cooperative pieces of art that are more then the sum of the parts that each of us adds, they have this little bit of extra, that only comes when some magic is happening.

This is “Sorrow”, a drypoint print by Sue Coleman, which got highlighted by a piece of artisan glass that was created by Gudrun Taresch with several layers of transparent glass, arranged to trap air in between and some gold paint.
